I just wanted to say how moved I am by the novel 21 ALDGATE, written by Patricia Friedberg.  I have a bit of an obsession with WW1.  I have visited the trenches and cemeteries in France and in 2000 as Artistic Director of  the National Symphony Orchestra, I put on a special concert of war poetry and music at Rochester Cathedral in Kent, England in honour of the Veterans of that war. There were six men still alive and four of them were there as guests of honour. For your interest I attach a draft of the programme for that concert.

With very best wishes

Anne
